6 non-touristy souvenirs made in Spain
We don’t tend to encourage our guests to do a lot of shopping, but because occasionally someone wants to take a gift back home or treat themselves to something special from Barcelona, we decided to sell some of the things we have in our apartments. That way you get to try them out while you stay with us and if you like, take something home with you. We selected all the objects based on quality, usefulness, aesthetics and because we know exactly who made them. All of them are locally made from eco-friendly materials. Here are some of our best-sellers.
The Ecophonic speaker
UNO by Ecophonic is a wireless speaker, made from FSC certified Spanish chestnut. It is durable and batteryless, which makes it great to take on a trip. It also serves as a dock for your smartphone. Fully biodegradable, this is a speaker that doesn’t end up as e-waste anywhere.

Bas Barcelona flower pots
Xènia makes these gorgeous flowerpots using local clay in Gracia, a Barcelona neighbourhood that’s worth a visit. According to the artisan, each type of plant deserves a special pot. The cute little ones are for smaller plants that like plenty of light. Others protects slow growing plants, like succulents, from too much sunlight and drafts. Each pot has an integrated plate and comes in a sturdy box for you to take this locally made souvenir home.
