Cultural wine tasting session on our terrace with sommelier Cristina Baisplelt from Enculturarte, who pairs local organic wines with the work of the artists from the Sagrada Familia. Event in collaboration with Sentits Barcelona.
Vinyasa flow yoga with Olga and lunch “de forquilla” with Hector on our terraze overlooking the city!
The verbena de St Juan from the #terrazayök is always good fun. Like every year, the event could not have happened without a great crowd, good food (this time, Privat Events presented us with a delicious and beautiful catering), views, firecrackers, a bonfire and good wishes!
A celebration of Catalan and Scottish ingredients, brought together the traditions and delicacies of both nations. Scottish food writer and cook Philip Dundas, who lives in London but found inspiration in Barcelona, tested his informal dining experience Radish. Traditional Scottish dishes and twists on Catalan favourites made with ingredients from both places were dished up on our terrace.

Wine expert Anna Toro brought in some natural and biodynamic wines to taste and debate at yök. Around the big table on the terrace (weather permitted) we discussed sustainable wine making; its basic idea, goals and practise. 4 different local and natural wines were tasted, accompanied with seasonal fresh bites.

On this sunny sunday afternoon we served delicious mulled wine and collect blankets and men’s winter clothes for Fundació Arrels to fight homelessness in Barcelona.
100% of the donations went towards their campaign #1miliódegràcies, to collect 1 million euros which pays for 45.454 nights of accommodation to homeless people.
Special thanks to: Vinyes L’Albà, Vincelona and NexT.To Project.
For the second time we participated in Park(ing) Day. Together with René + que electrodoméstics, Apocapoc, Pajareria Newton and Be Organic we turned a parking space into a garden for a day, with the help of our neighbours. People left their plants with us for a day to protest: more breen spaces, less cars for our city! Visit our blog for more photos.
St Juan overlooking Barcelona and its fireworks. We ate food by Gino Latino and Bear on Bike whilst enjoying local organic wines. We wrote notes with our wishes and things we want to leave behind to burn them in the fire and jump over it to make them come true.
Did you always want to make your own lamp but just haven’t gotten around to it yet? Come and spend an afternoon with us at #terrazayök and make a lamp out of a recycled barrel. All the materials will be waiting for you at yök. As well as some lovely views over the city! Take home your own eco-design, a Bidón Lamp!
This is an OffBDW activity.
Please visit our blog for photos of the event.
Urban Sketchers Barcelona and Inky Fingers came to sketch our rooftop view and our Casas. Here are some results! Thank you Mitte for the collaboration. More about artist Lapin on his web site.
We dedicated this month to our over 100-year-old mosaic floors and the work of local artist José Antonio González Robles. José exhibited his “100 birds” and worked on one of his mosaics at yök for a few weeks. More information and photos on our blog.
Thanks to the 653 people who visited us during the 2 days of 24H Open House Barcelona, and all the interest you showed in our spaces!
We participated in this year’s Park(ing) Day. Together with our neighbours, we occupied the parking slot in front of the Arc de Triomf! Everyone brought plants in the morning to fill the space, and picked them up again in the evening. Together for a greener, car-free city! Here are more photos.
